(South Lake Tahoe, CA) – Edgewood Companies has a vision and aims to partner with the City of South Lake Tahoe to improve the community. On June 7, the South Lake Tahoe City Council will review ideas on how to help facilitate this vision. Specifically, Edgewood Companies seeks to transfer its development rights, associated with the TAUs (Tourist Accommodation Units) that it owns, from an outdated motel near the ‘Y’ in order to build a LEED designed, world-class Lodge with substantial water quality improvements at Edgewood Golf Course. As part of the TAU transfer, Edgewood would like to partner with the City to turn the blighted C&M Lodge site into a small neighborhood park called Bonanza Park.
